The DuraLabel 2000 PLUS is quite autonomous and requires little maintenance to run smoothly. The occasional simple cleaning of the printhead and platen roller extends the life of the DuraLabel 2000 PLUS and helps it print crisp, clear labels every time.
Each DuraLabel 2000 PLUS label printer includes a cleaning pen and five cleaning cards. The pen cleans the printhead, the most important component of the thermal transfer printer, with a few strokes back and forth across the surface. The cleaning cards load like standard label supplies. They run through the printer and clean the platen roller and other components of the printer susceptible to build-ups of debris.
DuraLabel also provides 10-packs of alcohol-filled cleaning swabs free to every customer. These swabs roll over and clean the printhead, platen roller, cutter and without damaging any of these sensitive parts. These simple maintenance techniques are the easiest way to keep your printing running at optimal performance.
